Fernmere Consultancy provides professional consultancy services to organisations operating within the health and social care sector. Services may include, but are not limited to:

The scope of work will be agreed before work begins.
Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Work will commence only after written acceptance of the quotation or other agreed confirmation.
Fees and Payment
Payment terms will be agreed before work begins.
Invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed.
Late payment may result in suspension of services until payment has been received.
Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate information.
- Supply documents required for the agreed work.
- Provide reasonable access to staff and premises where necessary.
- Respond promptly to requests for information.
Delays caused by the Client may affect agreed timescales.
Confidentiality
Fernmere Consultancy will treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose information to third parties except where required by law or where authorised by the Client.
Data Protection
We process personal information in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection legislation.

Professional Advice
Our recommendations are based on information provided by the Client and current legislation, guidance and recognised best practice at the time advice is given.
Responsibility for operational decisions remains with the Client.
Cancellation
Appointments may be rearranged where reasonably possible.
Where a Client cancels a confirmed appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, Fernmere Consultancy reserves the right to charge for time already allocated.
Illness, Annual Leave and Unforeseen Circumstances
Fernmere Consultancy is committed to delivering services within agreed timescales wherever reasonably possible.
However, as an independent consultancy, there may occasionally be circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including illness, injury, annual leave, family emergencies or other unforeseen events, which may temporarily affect our ability to provide services.
Where this occurs, we will:
- Inform the Client as soon as reasonably practicable.
- Agree a revised timescale or alternative appointment where possible.
- Make every reasonable effort to minimise disruption.
Fernmere Consultancy shall not be liable for delays resulting from such circumstances.
Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to provide accurate professional advice, Fernmere Consultancy shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or financial losses arising from the use of our services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Intellectual Property
Reports, templates, policies and documentation produced by Fernmere Consultancy remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Clients may use documents supplied for their own organisation but may not reproduce or distribute them commercially without permission.
Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us in the first instance so that we can seek to resolve the matter promptly and fairly.
Changes to these Terms
Fernmere Consultancy reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on this website.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Professional Independence
Fernmere Consultancy provides independent professional advice based on experience, current legislation and recognised good practice. Recommendations are advisory in nature, and responsibility for implementing those recommendations remains with the Client.
